Kubernetes is a portable, extensible open-source platform for managing containerized workloads and services.

Istio is an open platform to connect, manage, and secure microservices.

Ceph is open source software designed to provide highly scalable object-, block- and file-based storage under a unified system.

During this live demo you will learn to build a Kubernetes cluster from scratch and to guarantee transparently encrypted network traffic with Istio and cluster-wide persistent storage with Ceph.
