Job Description

The cloudera CDP platform provides a feature-rich, secure, and governed data platform. As part of his missions, the big data administrator deploys and operates big data platforms and meets the expectations of data engineers, data analysts and data scientists.

Adaltas is looking for an engineer with 2 or more years of experience on Cloudera HDP, CDH and CDP platforms. You will work surrounded by Adaltas employees as well as with client teams. This is an opportunity to acquire and deepen a great deal of knowledge about critical infrastructures.

Adaltas specializes in the processing and storage of data. Our expertise is reflected in our partnership with Cloudera/Hortonworks with which we have been working jointly since 2014.

Much of the digital world runs on open source software, and the big data industry is booming. To meet the growing demands of our customers, we are looking for big data experts familiar with the Hadoop and Kubernetes ecosystems. Also, anyone with a solid background in Linux operations interested with distributed systems is welcome to apply.

Required Skills

• Apache ecosystem (Hadoop, Hive, NiFi, etc.)
• Kubernetes ecosystem and object storage
• Experience on Cloudera HDP, CDH and CDP platforms
• Ansible, Terraform, Git, etc.

Profile

A master degree in IT and data is expected along some experience in the field. Each application will be carefully examined by our recruitment team.

Remuneration

Compensation is based on your experience and skills. Salaries for this position start at €55,000 per year with 2 years of experience. Food and transports are covered. We provide a laptop with the minimal characteristics: Linux, 32GB RAM, 1TB SSD, 8c/16t CPU.

Complementary information

Several positions are open. We are looking for senior and less experienced profiles with the motivation and skills required to improve their skills.

This is the opportunity to work on a driving project of the big data ecosystem and to become an open source contributor. We offer permanent contracts. Compensation is based on your experience and skills.

The positions are open to teleworking, between 2 and 3 days of presence with our customers, depending of course, on the policy of the latter. Our customers are mainly geolocated in the Parisian region.
