Never miss our publications about Open Source, big data and distributed systems, low frequency of one email every two months.
Adaltas will be at BIGDATA&AI Paris on September 15–16, 2026 in Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, co-organizing the TOSIT association’s booth alongside CGI and the association’s founding members. A unique opportunity to meet key players in enterprise open source and see three reference data platforms up close.
Big Data Paris 2026: the French Data Community’s Annual Gathering
A must-attend event in the French data ecosystem, Big Data Paris brings together thousands of professionals every year, architects, data engineers, and decision-makers, to explore the latest trends in data processing, storage, and analytics. The 2026 edition takes place on September 15–16 in Paris.
TOSIT: The Open Source I Trust
TOSIT (The Open Source I Trust) is a French non-profit association founded by major public and private organizations: Carrefour, EDF, Orange, and the French Ministry of Economy and Finance. Its mission: to promote and sustain open-source software in the enterprise, ensuring full independence from proprietary vendors.
The booth is co-organized by Adaltas and CGI, committed partners alongside TOSIT members, with whom they actively contribute to the development and deployment of the association’s solutions.
Three Open-Source Solutions to Discover at the Booth
The booth will highlight three complementary data platforms from the TOSIT ecosystem and its partners.
TDP: Trunk Data Platform
TDP is a 100% open-source Big Data distribution built on the Apache Hadoop ecosystem (HDFS, YARN, Spark, Hive, Ranger…), initiated by EDF, the French Ministry of Economy, and Adaltas as a sovereign, vendor-independent alternative to proprietary distributions.
OKDP: Open Kubernetes Data Platform
OKDP is a cloud-native, modular data platform offering a catalog of pre-integrated open-source components deployable independently on Kubernetes — with its first official release launching the day before the conference, September 14, 2026.
Onyxia
Onyxia is an open-source datalab developed by INSEE, providing data scientists with a self-service environment on Kubernetes to spin up Jupyter notebooks, Spark jobs, and other analytics tools — with no friction or vendor lock-in.
Two Days of Demos and Conversations
Throughout the conference, live demonstrations and open discussions will be held at the booth to showcase each solution in real conditions and spark exchanges between TOSIT members, their partners, and the broader data community.
