OKDP is a service platform running on Kubernetes infrastructure dedicated to end-to-end data management. It aims to provide a robust, enterprise-grade solution for the industry through a commitment to open-source standards. As a comprehensive data management ecosystem, OKDP orchestrates the entire data lifecycle with built-in governance, serving all participants in the data ecosystem including data scientists, data engineers, AI engineers, and beyond. OKDP contains 2 main layers: Data & AI Modules, and a Control Plane. Data & AI Modules is a catalog of pre-integrated open-source tools, deployable independently on Kubernetes, full stack is not mandatory. Tools including Orchestration Visualization & BI Lakehouse & Analytics, etc. A Control Plane acts as the backbone of the platform, acting as a governance and automation layer that integrates all tools seamlessly: handling authentication, multi-tenancy, resource management, and observability across the entire stack. It is composed of a server, and a web UI.
