Mehdi is a Data Engineer, evolving in the Big Data ecosystem for almost 2 years. Among other things, he designed and developed real-time data processing applications on Spark and SparkML, as well as data ingestion and processing chains involving Nifi, Sqoop, Hive, Impala, HBase. His favorite programming languages are Java, Python, Scala. He is also proficient in the deployment aspects of CDH clusters and especially the Data Science tools (Zeppelin, Jupyter, and Cloudera Data Science Workbench).
He enjoys revealing the hidden informations in the datasets and answering the customer’s questions through data visualization on PowerBI. He has recently focused his attention on Computer Vision, specifically image segmentation through convolutional neural networks.
